There's another post that I wasn't able to link for some reason where he equates hip hop with ISIS.

My thanks to previous posters for this entertaining thread, which I've just read through from start to finish.
__________________________________________________ ____________ My immediate response to TH's original question was to think of these two guys:- ^ Separating the art from the artist may be a worthy intellectual endevour, but in his case the result is disappointing because you just end up with "awful" and "worse". __________________________________________________ ____________ And just to show how misguided contemporaneous judgements can be, Yoko Ono was actually more vilified than Gary Glitter at the time. For years she carried round the stigma of being "The woman who broke up the Beatles," and her music upset plenty of people too:- Sure, her voice is kind of grating at times, but she often has a refreshingly weird and offbeat approach. Either way, she doesn't deserve the abuse she has received across the years, which must make her one of the least liked musicians around. If you don't believe me, take a look at this offensive comment I just found on YouTube:- Spoiler for What other artist has to tolerate this kind of cr*p?:

Anything specific to recommend, elphenor ?
From what little I've heard, she's all over the place in terms of style. Ironically, she even squeezed this onto a Lennon album - the same kind of "granny rock" that Lennon condemned when McCartney added it to the Beatles' ingredients:-

So much this. Early on Lennon was such a massively strong individual force. So sad to see how LSD and other drugs made him a total sycophant to Yoko and her "supposed" artistic genius.
