Yes, the level at which they are known within the music world is magnanimous, but they never breached into the mainstream to the point of being considered a household name. That's all my point was. Actually my original point was that they are a band from Ireland. Framing it as a comparison to U2's legacy is a misnomer imo, since there are plenty of names both more obscure and more well-known than U2 that I'd consider household names.

Yeah, it's an empty and pointless argument anyway isn't it? Imagine though if they had become as big? "MBV release the thirtieth anniversary gold deluxe edition of Loveless, after a twenty-five year career spanning thirteen albums, six gold discs and seven Grammies, headlining a sellout concert at MSG..."

Watching this live I got massive goosebumps at 4:45 and onward. At 10:30 especially.

Not sure how it's viewed in hindsight but at the time it was unbelievably moving.

I remember it and you're right.

I just realized that if Chula takes just one sentence out of his posts, they seem like they come from an entirely different member. Bolded sentence for evidence.

I think the same could be said of quite a few members here.

Yep, guilty as charged. I always thought if I could only make my replies one sentence less I could be a heck of a lot funnier.

I don't really ever listen to completely incompetently made music, so the worst complete album I've heard would have to be a horrifically disappointing album from an artist I like or used to like.

Thus, my pick would have to be Ozzy's "Black Rain" album. Oh my ****ing god is this boring. There is nothing memorable about it at all. There is worse music out there, but this is probably the most worthless disc I ever really tried to like.
