Strawman argument doesnt mean that you're arguing like a fight. It can be and is used in civil debates (despite being fallacial).

To put my intention as clear as possible, I am only throwing together my thoughts together on this:

Now I relate somewhat to some of his comments on it, though I still like "Within you, Without you" and "A day in the life" reasonably much.

Now, when there is immense popularity, cultural recognition and/or seemingly universal influence being thrown around behind the claims we've talked so much about, I will quite obviously want to investigate.

I don't seem to have succeeded but I have tried to be as clear and eloquent as possible in my discussion on this topic. Again, my side of the conversation hasn't been against them (even the cynical hyperbole I started off with), but I can't just take something (even that I cherish) at face value because life is far more complicated than that.

I think the best way to chart influence is by looking to how many people note them as an influence, and with The Beatles its pretty common for rock musicians to cite them. There's the direct evolution of sound, which gets a little trickier, to the point where I don't think I agree that it can be objectively established. Rubber Soul and Revolver were primers, Sgt. Peppers was a dive into psychedelic music. I refer back to one of the earliest points I made here: I think that album helped spark the psychedelic movement in more far reaching ways than any group had done before them. And don't say Jimi Hendrix because he only had a two week head start on that album.

You guys overanalyze every ****ing thing. The album is good. If you don't like it, don't listen to it. It's really really simple.

Why would someone like it or not like it specifically and how does their socioeconomic situation reflect that?
