Agreed, but...

This thread seems to be turning into a "this song is overrated" discussion. Let's be honest. As overplayed and mediocre/awful/merely good as some Stones songs may be (Paint It Black, Brown Sugar, Sympathy, Mother's Little Helper), they're far better than the crap they released on Dirty Work, Undercover, Black & Blue, etc.

And whatever you think of Should I Stay or Casbah or London Calling, the Clash have released stuff that's far worse. Even closet Sandanista! or Combat Rock fans will admit that there's some pretty lame stuff between those albums.

I'd love to nominate Hey Jude, but I can easily think of dozens of Beatles songs that are far worse.
