I'll participate, but let's hope it can stay alive. Several of us tried to take this over and there was not enough interest to keep it going, which is frustrating, so let's all try to make a decent effort, not just this week or next, when this idea is (to many) fresh, but every week. The idea is sound, it just needs the continued support of members. Make your own dirty joke about that.

Rez, can you just add into the rules (I assume it's still the case, but just so people know) that you're expecting everyone to write a line or two about the music they hear on the mixtape? I think this is where it fell down last time, to say nothing of contributions being thin on the ground, but I think nobody really wanted to give their impressions, other than the impression of a member who didn't want to give their impressions, if you get me.

ok so I read the rules but I'm a dumbass so I'm gonna ask just to clarify

we all ask for one track to be included, correct? and the track can basically be anything so long as it fits the guidelines in the OP?

None of this is really necessary when it's just a compilation of tracks. Don't make it into something it doesn't need to be.

Oh yes it is, because that's how it worked before. If people are going to submit the tracks, what's the point if they're not going to say what they thought of them? Well, it's up to the Doctor, but that was how the thing was played before and it made it much more interesting as you could get and give feedback.
