I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be secret or whatever, but Morrissey is my submission. It's not one of his best, but I like it still and felt it fit the theme.

It's about people who are too self-centered to care about the suffering of others.

The futility is in trying to make them care or at least consider others, something they seem unwilling to even when faced with it.

Um, no. No it's not. In previous mixtapes everyone was fully aware who submitted what.

I disagree with you on Morrissey's music (definitely not in the boring category imo), but then I do realize I might disagree with most people on Moz's music.

No way, it's always been a guessing game. Just like the creative writing challenges. You submit privately, members guess who submitted what, and once confirmed it's added to the OP.

Sorry no. I well remember discussing with Bob. about something like The Black Ryder, and everyone knew who had submitted what. Doesn't matter; I'm not involved so do as you like, but I'm loath to see Guybrush castigated for something he was not guilty of. From the first mixtape in the thread:

OK I see where the confusion is. Rezz was doing the weekly mixtape, which was as I noted, no anonymity required. But Loathsome Pete then started up a monthly one, in which he suggested the tracks be anonymous. That was back in 2013, and every attempt to resurrect any sort of mixtape has been on the basis of Rezz's idea, so I personally would say anonymity is not part of it. Mind you, this is now Carpe's thread so I guess what she says goes, but it should be made clear before people submit any tracks. Is what I feel.
