Oh hell let's give it one more go. I'll try to manage it but I'm not going to mix the songs like Raime was intending to. Far too much work.

So simply drop your songs to me, if you're interested, by PM by, let's say the end of the month? Gives plenty of time for the terminally lazy to amalgamate their excrement into one manageable piece.

If you're new to this, we're on about the sixty millionth attempt to bring it back but here's how it works:

Pick a track (one only) and send it in MP3 format to me via PM.
Once we've gathered enough (usually 10 - 12 songs) I'll publish the list in a link everyone can download and then after listening to each song everyone gives their comments on what they liked, didn't like, and what got mysteriously corrupted and they couldn't listen to it, Frownland, even though they really wanted to and it's not their fault etc.

Going on previous lack of engagement for this, I don't expect it will come to anything but hey, let's give it one more try before we hammer down the final nail into this particular coffin, hey?

Given the historical response to this down the years, I'm not going to restrict it by putting a theme on it. For now, let's just see who responds, if anyone. I'm expecting this to implode under the sheer weight of apathy that's been a feature of this thread, added to that the fact that once I'm involved things seem to pick up speed and hurtle downhill, so I don't maintain any illusions, but we'll see.

I would say to hell with the mp3's though.... why not just list the songs and everyone looks them up in their own way? And, maybe a track length limit would be wise... and even a number of participants limit

I found so much great music from this game when I was active years ago

Sorry but this is destined never to rise again. Look at how many times we've tried: my last was a year ago. I got not one single post in support. Personally, I've had it with this. I joined in, I posted, I reviewed, I worked to resurrect it, but sometimes you just have to stop pounding the chest with sweat pouring down your face growling "DON'T YOU DIE ON ME!" and begin to hear the flatline.

This thing is dead. Nobody wants to help bring it back to life. it's a zombie desperately trying, but failing, to claw its way out of the grave. Best to let it rest in peace.

That's a real shame. It's part of the reason I started posting again.

I'll keep the offer out there. If anyone would like to get it on this... the theme will be futility.

No songs over 7 minutes. Must be available on a free streaming service (YouTube, etc - please provide a link)
