That part in "Funeralopolis" when the audio sounds like it's destroying your speakers is one of the high points in metal. Even though I know it's coming it still makes me just a little bit paranoid every time I hear it.

Yeah. I dig Epica for the Kamelot connection, but I kind of have to force myself to listen to them. They're like if Nightwish and Within Temptation had a kid, and it was a bit, well, shall we say, oxygen deprived?

Have you listened to Edenbridge or Leaves' Eyes as a matter of interest?

That's exactly how I felt with this album. I've heard Edenbridge's stuff a while back, but failed to really get into it. Leave's Eyes however I have not heard.

You should wright more about each album and focus less on number ratings. Would make more people read.
