Pfft. If I used that as a criterion I'd never post anything. #CelebrateDiversity

Meh, I take my time. Been kept busy visiting sis in the hospital every day, and then there are all those awards to lose for my series of novels. Good idea to finish writing them first, perhaps.

Yeah The Black Dahlia Murder tend to get thrown in there with deathcore. I mean you could make a case for a few albums, like Deflorate. But this one is way closer to Melodic Death Metal.

Deathcore could've been the most amazingly rad genre if it didn't get hijacked by those goddamn scene kids.

Yeah I know; I just don't know what it sounds like. The idea's hilarious though.

Deathcore could have been great if it hadn't been reduced to a combination of beatdown hardcore and slam death metal. Like, there are other forms of hardcore and death metal to explore. Please use them, Suicide Silence. Unfortunately techy brutal death metal schlock seems to be the only other DM genre anyone looks to.

Remember that Entombed album you listened to a while back? That's death n roll. Just death metal with more traditional rock songwriting. It's one of those genres nobody really listens to cause it's generally pretty lame. Entombed are one of the only bands I can think of who get any love tbh.

Wolverine Blues can be found in the earlier pages of the log. I personally love it. Don't take it too seriously and it can be one of the funnest albums in the genre.
