Default Best and worst singers in your opinion

Just state who you think is one of the best singers ever to sing on a record and post a piece of evidence.

Then state who you think is one of the worst singers ever to sing on a record and post a piece of evidence.

Doesn't have to be in any way objective. Just pick whatever rocks your boat and whatever grates on your ears.

Posting counter-evidence to to previous posters' suggestions is encouraged.

Kyo, the singer of Japanese sort-of-metal-but-not-really band Dir En Grey, is amazing. Range, expression, tone of voice, variety and creativity. He's got all bases covered.

Claudio Sanchez. That dude with the ridiculous hair and the pop-punk-chipmunk voice who sings in Coheed and Cambria. The music is allright, but damn... That dude is oversinging everything to the limit and beyond. It's even worse when he tries to do a ballad; which always results in some of the most saccharine vocals I've ever heard.
