What if the club featured 1 song from every single member, every single week. Instead of a full album. Then, any members that listened to & reviewed ALL tracks from the current week gets to submit 1 track for the next week.

That way, there would be a much wider variety of styles every week and it would be more fun and much easier to find something to say. For me anyway. I'd have more to say about 5-8 totally different songs than about 1 whole album of stuff I don't necessarily care much about.
We did this before, I'd be in if it was brought back: http://www.musicbanter.com/general-m...ain-again.html

I'll think about it a bit. It seems like a cool idea, but I'd like to simplify it.

Round Six

Well, for the next round I am picking the album Cyborgs Revisited by Simply Saucer in honor of (or remembrance of) Pet Sounds. The band is from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and it's one of the last recs I gave him before he moved on from MB.

Simply Saucer - Cyborgs Revisited (1989)

If you already did, sorry, but I've checked back and I can't see anything from either of you. 03-11-2018
Trollheart was asking for albums for round six. Not that he asked me (if you noticed). But anyways Frownie is the last in line for round five. Round six will be arriving in a fortnight so I was announcing my next pick.

Just so you know, that request was for albums for round five. The comment about round six was a general one, not aimed at anyone. I was telling Frown and TLP that they had not submitted albums for round five. Not that it matters, but you seem to think I was ignoring you for round six. I wasn't. You had already given your album for round five, which is why you were not asked.

English is the only language you can look kinda dumb for both knowing and following grammar rules and for not knowing the grammars.

When I read that I made the assumption "this" was in reference to "round six." My bad for tracing the antecedent of "this" back to "round six." Supposedly one could had said "the current round" or "round five" just to clarify but they didn't and confusion followed. I am no better. I failed to mention "round six"in my post, and that confused Occult Hawk. There is a lot of confusion going on in this thread.

I feel like you are "gas lighting" me. I meant look at the evidence:
  • You conveniently leave out my name when you do review of member's journals in "The Music Banter Members' Journals Monthly Update Thread."
  • This is your project, you're the host, but you conveniently not give Blurred Crusade the full Trollheart treatment with long paragraphs and MPH jpegs.
  • You conveniently quit right before my album was up Why? So you wouldn't have to post my album: Freight Train and Other North Carolina Folk Songs - Elizabeth Cotten. Now that Occult Hawk posted it you're back.

I don't care how insane this sounds. I am being gas lighted. If I look for thinking that, then that is the whole point of being gas lighted. Needless to say you are the master gas lighter.

FYI, unless anyone has any objections, since I'm staying after all, I'm taking this back over.

No problem. Appreciate you stepping up. The paperwork's a bitch, anyway.
