Often. But I live in New York with civilized people.

The tri-state area is full of animals and you know it.

Believe me. Patsy Cline is played everyday in a diner somewhere in NYC.

NYC has less diners than you think. The ones that claim to be are really just restaurants that adhere to some sort of diner name. You want real diners? New Jersey and southern NY state are your places and you really don't hear 50s music in one unless it's themed that way.

Source: I grew up there.

I know :) That's why I never leave the house. But at least our diners are civilized enough to not play country.

My diner experiences are limited to Rochester, Buffalo, and perhaps once while living in Westchester.

The preferred ear sodomy of these establishments is Journey and Toto's "Africa."

20 Classic Songs Essential for Any Good Dive Bar Jukebox - The Vinyl District

Patsy Cline – Anything – The actual definition of a dive bar: A dark and smoky bar with various memorabilia on every wall, and Patsy Cline playing on the Jukebox.
For the record I googled most popular jukebox songs without including her name and that was a top hit.

Have you ever just gone out with the intention to get drunk and try to get laid?

innerspaceboy 04-17-2017 09:14 PM

That's actually pretty cool, OH. Though I swear if I entered an establishment playing any of those songs, I would turn on my Cuban heels and exit immediately.

Also should mention, I've had a sum total of 2 beers in my life and have spent a grand total of ~15 minutes in dive bars. Not my scene. Tea shops? Yes. Dive bars? Not so much.

So, have you ever tried to get laid in a tea shop?

If you ever bad mouth that song again I will end your life.
