Fractures (2014) Electric pop kind of sound, but it has a kind of sad sound to it thanks to the vocals. *thumbs up* G Unit - Beg For Mercy (2003) This album and similar artists blew up around the time I discovered underground hiphop like JMT, Aesop, etc.. Being the naive highschooler and elitist hiphopper that I was I wrote them off and gave my friend **** about listening to garbage music every time he tried to get me into it. Well, I finally gave it a fair shot.. Verdict: still meh. It was better than I ever gave it credit for in the past, and there are some cool tracks, but overall this album didn't deliver. I really don't get the hype. Cloves - XIII (2015) Only 4 tracks.. she sounds like Adele who I also like so this was a nice quick listen. If you're not already a fan of this kind of music don't bother checking this out. It doesn't offer anything new or interesting. |

I never have because they seem like the type of group that gets a bit bland when listening to a whole project.

I haven't listened to them enough to distinguish between Yayo and Banks. It's funny you mentioned Lloyd though because I've heard that a lot and I'm planning on checking out one of his albums today for comparison. If you have a suggestion lemme know.

I prefer HFM 2 but still with the first one to focus more on him.
HFM 2 is all about the strong features imo. HFM is Hunger For More.

Alela Diane and Ryan Francesconi - Cold Moon (2015) A less country, more indie First Aid Kit. I first listened to her earlier in this thread and decided I wanted to explore more of her discography today. Alela Diane - About Farewell (2013) I definitely liked the albums I listened to today better than her first album The Pirate's Gospel. It was cool, as always, to hear her develop her style as time goes on. Lloyd Banks - The Hunger For More (2004) From DJ: Well I started off skeptical. The first couple tracks were pretty bad, the production on "Playboy" was so annoying I had to skip it half way through. After that the album came around ("Warrior" and beyond) and I found myself enjoying it. Much better than the G Unit album, I will come back to HFM2 at some point.

What is a good psych furs album? Ive never even heard of them before yesterday. I just picked an album and went with it.
Have you actually listened to every album i covered in this thread or are you basing your opinion on my poorly written comments? |
