I'll just edit it and come up with a new format I find acceptable before I get too far into this. I was a bit worried about that myself and now that someone brought it up, I guess it's time.

Post it with the quotes, then screenshot the quote, then edit the quote and insert the image. Duh.

If I had more time, I'd actually do this because I hate the way it looks now. Ugly af.

Looks fine now.

Spiritual Front - Open Wounds (2013)
It's a long album @ 1hr30min, but I found it enjoyable the whole way through. The instrumentation was the highlight of this album. I guess I'm a fan of "nihilist suicide pop".

kiss the anus of a black cat - To Live Vicariously (2015)
Idk how to classify this, and I really don't like attaching a bunch of genres to artists. It was kind of eerie and slow, but held my attention. I'd definitely listen to it again.

Melody's Echo Chamber (2012)
Mostly English, some songs were in French. I enjoyed them both equally, pretty cool album.

The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band - Part One (1967)
Nothing special, but fun and enjoyable.

Eefje De Visser - Nachtlicht (2015)
I like her voice, it kind of reminds me of Agnes Obel (especially the first track). Nice mix of sounds and tempo, easy on the ears. Definitely will give it another listen and check out her other 2 albums.

The West Coast Adjective Experimental band is solid psych. Have you heard United States of America or Fifty Foot Hose?

DwnWthVwls 01-21-2017 12:21 PM

Nope.. I'll check it out when I have some time.

Frownland 01-21-2017 12:39 PM

You're on for a treat. Those are two of the best psychedelic albums of all time that aren't by Jimi Hendrix.

Trollheart 01-21-2017 01:09 PM

Even I enjoyed the United States of America album.

Mazelo Nostra - Midnight Grooves (2011)
Standard chill lounge/jazz beats.

Miraflores - bird of danger EP (2005)
16 minutes of indie with catchy music and cool lyrics.

Sturgill Simpson - A Sailor's Guide to Earth (2016)
If more country was like this I'd give the genre more of a chance. Probably won't listen to it again, but it was a cool change of pace. If nothing else it has a cover of Nirvana - In Bloom, if that tells you anything.

Peace or Piece Mixtape (2005)
Only 3 artists: Senim Silla (of Binary Star), Naaman Norris, and Malaki the Most High. Naaman Norris was the highlight of the album: groovy and soulful. This is the only thing I can find by him, I'd love to hear more of his stuff. Standard Senim Silla sound with conscious lyrics. The Malaki tracks were, eh.. didn't like his flow much.

Dirty Honkers - Self Portrait in 3 Colors (2016)
Electro-swing anyone? This was so much fun to listen to.

Iamamiwhoami - Kin (2012)
The first of 3 albums. I'll be checking out more of them. I really enjoyed the electronic/synthy production and the vocals worked well with it.
