^10,000 Days has Wings For Marie Part 1 and 2 which are some of their best tracks, other than that I agree the album is pretty boring.

Those are fine and I think Rosetta Stoned is at least interesting. Beyond that it's either boring or sometimes even bad. I completely like the idea of Tool experimenting, but they focussed on making their most experimental AND most accessible album at the same time. it just doesn't mesh.

Jambi and The Pot remain some of my favorite songs from them but aside from that I can't listen to that album in one sitting without getting trailed off.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I can certainly understand that. However, I did see them during their 10,000 days tour and I will credit them for the fact that they made the music on that album sound amazing in concert. Vicarious especially.

The Mars Volta never went back to that intense and chaotic post hardcore that they displayed on Deloused in the Comatorium. I LOVE Frances the Mute but it's an entirely different experience. I fell in love with Deloused and really wanted a second album with the same intensity.

Fifty Foot Hose, Matana Roberts (she still has a chance though), and The Velvet Underground.

I totally disagree with the following...

DEVO's best album is easily Duty Now for the Future (and yes speed racer is a great song but does that make Oh No It's Devo their best album?....i mean i think the best song they ever recorded is on Something for Everybody...but that far from their best album)
Metallia's best album is Master of Puppets
Jesus and Mary Chain's best album is Darklands
Helmet's best album is Meantime
Coil's best album is Music to Play in the Dark 1 and 2

totally agree with these

Gang of Four
Kvelevtak (seriously what happened here)
Suicidal Tendencies
Primus
Tomohawk

some others

Christian Death
Bauhaus
The Specials
Catherine Wheel
Nine Inch Nails
Electric Hellfire Club
Killing Joke
Ride
CopShootCop
Subhumans
Violent Femmes
Butthole Surfers

I agree completely. Part of why I still have yet to venture far from it. Think right now I've only listened up to Amputechture.
