also i know they get a lot of **** but i do like arctic monkeys' debut album, they just went downhill from there though

also the strokes first album is their best, actually their only album i really love

nas

oh and coil. scatology > every other album they've released.

All About Eve. Nearly a perfect debut, and they never even got close afterwards.
Deacon Blue: Raintown. Even though most of their bigger hits came off When the World Knows Your Name I think the debut is a far tighter and well written album.
