Since joining this forum a few months ago Ive been listening to and chasing up recommendations made by other members and being one of the older ones, catching up on the new stuff.
But as ever, still have time for those foot stomping, floor shakin' classics that is... Northern Soul.
It'll never leave me.

Keeping the faith.

Summer for me usually means alot of reggae, oldschool funk, and - dare i say it - Grateful Dead
Here's some of what's in max rotation at my house that doesn't fit that criteria:

Kool Keith - Clifton
Mos Def & Talib kweli - Definition (the whole Black Star album actually)
Kool & the Gang - Get Down on it
Fugazi - Glue Man
Tom-Tom Club - Genius of Love
DJ Shadow - Six Days
Drunkship of Lanterns - Mars Volta
Wu-Tang Clan - Triumph
Soulive - Cannonball
Clutch Whiskey and Rye
The Cramps - Garbageman
John Coltrane - A Love Supreme

Tom Tom Club.
Wow, forget all about them and I have the album somewhere.
Also Jerry Harrisons - Casual Gods album, both good stuff.
