You never heard bout David Bowie??? I mean, DAVID BOWIE!!! He was - that's just my opinion - the most important singer of the New York Glam Rock & Disco Scene. You never heard bout "Let's Dance"???
And Andy Warhol was THE Pop Art Artist, one of the most famous and successful ever. Only Roy Lichtenstein is comparable to him.

And Satchmo: Yeah, Bowie was famous before the 80's. My fav Bowie album is "Hunky Dory".

For crimes against Soul, I would like to see Marc Almond of Soft Cell slowly tortured to death for what he did to the Gloria Jones soul classic, 'Tainted Love'.

If we didn't have Bowie, we wouldnt have Glam rock, which would mean no Punk rock, which in turn would mean no hardcore, no metal...

Yeah, well, i had a bowie t-shirt on at a metal concert, and someone told me it sucked, so another guy said all of what i said above and told him we wouldn't have been standing there if it wasn't for Bowie.

Andy Warhol, its everywhere. I used him in my DT work last year. yay.
