Default Venues where you have seen concerts

I'm looking for places where you've seen "professional " gigs for which at least some attempt at advertising was made, leaving out such things as local bands playing at someone's loft/basement/house/etc. for free. Also, I've left out places where I've seen only local/regional bands, but if others want to include them, that's cool:

I don't get why I can't bring up my buds band playing at another friend of mines house for a party. It was still a show.

I've probably forgotten the names of as many as I might be able to remember. Maybe I'll come back here later, when I have more time, and see how many come to mind.
