I think the song that I can't get sick of and I love so much, and was like my anthem lol a few years ago is Karma Police by Radiohead.

I think thats completely fantastic :)

fionajoy 08-03-2005 12:30 AM

Man Over ~ Robinella & the CCStringband

A stark Delta Blues song about a man who loses his battle with alcoholism. It tells me how my life would have been, had I not stopped drinking. I hold it near.

right-track 08-17-2005 02:51 PM

Time Will Pass You By - Tobi Legend.

Everytime I hear this song it reminds me of how short life is.
It reminds me of family members lost and the friends that never made it.

...life is just a precious minute baby,
open up your eyes and see it baby,
give yourself a better chance because,
time will pass you by...

Billy Austin by Steve Earle: Made me re-think my views on capitol punishment

If You Ever Did Believe by Stevie Nicks: I know what it is like to want something that badly

Johnny Come Lately by Steve Earle: Speaks of the heroism of the WWII vets and the warm reception upon their arrival home, and then belts you in the face with a Vietnam vet returning home to no one. Pointed out a severely grave injustice to me

Radiohead - Let Down

Seeing as this (in my opinion) is the pinnacle of Ok Computer's melancholy. It actually brought me to tears and it still scares me the emotional value this song has.

Can - Halleluhwah

My first ever experience of Tago Mago was in my bed, in the dark and through headphones. This song just completely blew me away (much like the album). It felt as though it was actually breaking my brain in two.

Frances 01-04-2007 05:02 PM

Stairway To Heaven..wow...where should I start, the song itself? the lyrics?
the softness of the song in the beginning and how it slow starts to get a lil heavier.....and well....its the first song I learned to play on guitar so it holds a special place in my heart.

Sylvia
