How long before the Vittorio Camardese/EVH reference pops up? I'm gonna say right now.

First up, Jimmy Page and using a bow on an electric guitar.

Was actually done first by The Creation on Making Time

So that's first time in history that was ever done huh

I don't know how popular this one is, but i've been told that The Kinks song Baby You Really Got Me is the original song to use distortion.

Yet here is Joe Hill Louis using overdrive a whole 14 years before The Kinks.

And I think there was more people before him, I just haven't heard those recordings.

Apples to Oranges comparison. You are comparing the overdrive due to valves/tubes clipping the signal to a speaker cone that was cut with a razor and poked with a pin that produced a distorted sound.

edit: but hooray for valves/tubes providing overdrive and distortion!

First use of sitar on a Western pop/rock recording is often thought to be The Beatles' "Norwegian Wood", but The Kinks beat them to it four months earlier on "See My Friends".

Written by Ray for his older sister who died suddenly of a heart ailment just after gifting him with his first guitar at age 13.

Know what I really missed? The fact you called the song "Baby You Really Got Me" despite posting a YouTube video that had the correct title of the song.

I do believe you mean, "Baby You Really Got Me One More Time".

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.
