Default What's your current music buzz?

As I've already advertised on the What Are You Listening To thread, I'm on a stoner rock buzz/binge. It wasn't intended to be a buzz but I got into some very cool albums and it turned into one.

This thread is for talking about your current musical buzz.

Again, in synch with the synth pop round, synth pop/post-punk.

Judas Priest has been getting a lot of play lately from me. Stained Class, Hellbent, and British Steel mostly (their most prolific era imo), but I did throw on some Screaming For Vengeance last night. They definitely stepped it up a notch on that one. Defenders is tonights after work treat.

Have you seen them live? I saw them recently and they were phenomenal.

I've been on a big bossa nova binge recently with a bit of mambo on the side.

I'm never really binging on any particualr style as I think most bands in any given style are kind of uninteresting. My current musical buzz is more general: I'm obsessed with trying to find something that sounds beautiful, but interesting. I've been listening to so much metal for months now that I need to hear something less harsh, but somehow still not too easy. I hate stuff that is too twee and easy listening. I just listened to the song Moving by Kate Bush and was wondering where I had to look to find something that feels as melodic and interesting like that song does.

I was just talking about this with a friend of mine who saw them last year. He said the same thing. I've never seen them.
