My exploration of music has slowed to almost nothing in the past year. I've established albums that I would consider to be the best in their respective genres, and I'm okay with just listening to those. I'm highly judgemental and I've concluded that the odds are very small I'll hear something better than what I've heard already--only with genres I'm familiar with of course. It's very likely I'll hear some jazz that I love with minimal exploration, because I've never actively searched for jazz that I like.

You think Dolly will make this disinterested feeling go away? I highly doubt it.

So you feel you have heard the best in each genre? While I have felt that sometimes it's not something I assume. I always think there's a band out there you don't know that are making music that will eventually blow your mind once you discover them and get into them.

And apparently to some ppl that artist is Dolly Parton.
