It's an impossible task to figure out the "greatest" song song ever ... I have hundreds of favorite songs. I guess these are songs I hope will never get tired of, that they will always be as amazing as the first time I heard them.
Solid Space - 10th Planet 15th ? WIRE Rockpalast Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart Melody's Echo Chamber - I Follow You

Brotzmann's Machine Gun is one of my all time favourites. It's heavier than 99% of all music.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcvnt4Rxp_I Slipknot is made for angsty tweens who think their parents make them clean their room because they're mean. Not that it reflects on you, but I'm quite certain that that is their target demographic.

I've often thought about this question, and figured if anyone ever held a gun to my head and asked me to name the Greatest Song Ever Written, I would say this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQ2OKoLpNBM Oddly, it's not even my favorite song (though probably in the top 10 or 20), but I think I would call it "greater" than some other songs I personally like better.
