Yeah, this. CDs > cassette. I actually have a small CD collection, and while I don't actively search them out, I have no problem picking something up on disk.

I have a friend who is the same way. He has 10x the CDs that I have vinyl, and he's probably only paid half as much, to be honest.

Let It Bleed by the Stones for $5, Hotel California for $2.50, three Cars albums for $5, a Jimi Hendrix bootleg for $1. There's a few others too, but it's mostly just stuff I grabbed because it was cheap and I'd heard about the band before.

I think I have about 80 CDs. I have been collecting since I was about ten but got burgled twice and had to start over so now I'm not that arsed.
