Which is all you're getting with a CD anyway. Let me put your box inside another box basically

And hell no they are not more durable than a record they actually depreciate quite a bit without you even playing them while vinyl from the 50's will still play fine today

Listening to CD's for the experience is like reading books on the 2004 version of the Kindle
Kindle launched in 2004? I thought it was 2007...

You all need to get your own personal troupe of minstrels to follow you around. Way more reliable than CDs or vinyl, and you can beat them if they mess up. Easily the best way to listen to music.

Not sure I agree that CDs,or DVDS, are more fragile than vinyl. Know I have some of both I have played over and over for over 10 years with no problem.
Just can't get into all this craving for the latest electronic gizmo. Have never owned or wanted a cell phone, and anyhow now live in rural community with poor cellservice. Decent broadband and wifi though.
But I love the Web! It had enabled me to shop easily for many great books,CDs, and DVDs that I otherwise. could not have found.

Where else but the Internet can you find say, Bob Dylan's first album? Or a collection of oldtime string band or blues tunes? Just not many music stores left that have anything but the latest hot releases. And music sold by places like Wal Mart is a joke!

It will always be Wal-Mart to me because of that stupid ****ing star in the middle. Also, I work at Wal-Mart, you don't see me telling you how to spell Burger King.
