I'm not sure what you mean. But if I'm the hipster doofus, I know very well what delta blues is. Delta blues is a form of country blues and it's one of the earliest and most popular styles of blues developed in and named after the Mississippi Delta. It's primary instruments are the acoustic guitar and harmonica, and is characterized by slide guitar techniques. Pioneers of the genre are Son House, Mississippi John Hurt, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Skip James, John Lee Hooker, and Robert Johnson. In fact, delta blues is part of the reason why so many blues artists went under the nickname "Mississippi."

Also, Muddy Waters is better at Chicago blues than delta blues.

Delta blues is the original blues, and the most real blues there is.

OK, honestly how many Blues guys do you know that you know and listened to that have names like "Mississippi ... "

Your explanation sounds pretty stock, like if you got it from Wikipedia, perhaps abridged it or got it from another site. You say you "know very well what delta blues is." Yet you fail to mention that Howlin' Wolf is Chicago Blues. I don't know if Frownland was testing you there and you failed. It's possible he believes if someone is born in Mississippi that automatically makes him a Delta Blues artist regardless what style of music he plays.

Now when I didn't know much about those other genres and gave the best answers I could give yet you totally dismissed those bands; didn't even count them. You hold double standards.

Howlin' Wolf's mama was born in Mississippi so he counts.

I'm not entirely sure why Nea has decided to beef with JGuy, but I am amused nonetheless.
