A: Delta blues comes before trip hop. The discussion was on what comes after delta blues.
B: We've got a lot of big name bands in trip hop, more than ambient. Portishead, Massive Attack, Gorillaz, Goldfrapp, Dolphin, Akira Yamaoka again, Tricky, Laika...

I was gonna do Downtempo, but I figured trip hop takes up most of the high quality downtempo anyway.

If you've listened to 90s hip-hop, you definitely know 90s hip-hop has a certain sound. If that's not enough, I suppose we could do like, 90s east coast or 90s west coast or whatever.
