Hey, Grindy! Can I trouble you to change thew title to "Big Four Bands Thread Round 4: Black Metal," please?

grindy 07-29-2016 12:08 PM

I knew something wasn't right.
Done.

Tristan_Geoff 07-29-2016 12:10 PM

Celtic Frost
Burzum
Bathory
Ulver

Need to get more into black metal but **** it.

grindy 07-29-2016 12:18 PM

Everybody should go and listen to Weakling. Then obviously vote for them.

JGuy Grungeman 07-29-2016 01:08 PM

Huh. I figured more votes would be coming in quickly today. In fact, I thought Bathory-Batlord of all people would have already jumped on the wagon.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 07-30-2016 11:07 AM

Burzum
Darkthrone
Enslaved
Agalloch (rip)

Mondo Bungle 07-30-2016 11:11 AM

Do Agalloch have enough black metal to be called black metal

JGuy Grungeman 07-30-2016 11:55 AM

Is that all you're going off? A lot of bands might have black metal in their sound, but it doesn't make them a black metal band. They do it an okay amount but including them as one of the "big 4" black metal bands of all time is absurd.

I could get down with tossing them a mention in some prog or post metal round.
