He is on the right track though. If those two idiots talking to each other about said band are able to communicate between each other about the band labeling by your standards a wrong genre. That is fine between their conversation. You aren't a part of it to dispute it. If those two idiots kept branching out and having more conversations labeling the band the same genre as it was discussed earlier and no one disputes it. When it branches out to the point that an entire fan base considers it the same genre that those two original idiots labeled it then it can be considered that genre regardless of if it is right or wrong. It has been used to describe that music for so long that it has become right. This is how the English language works as well Neo. You should know that. Same reason that Oxford keeps adding certain words every year to the dictionary.

Hence Peirce the Veil, Sleeping With Sirens, and Beartooth's being labeled as "post-hardcore".

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Who would like a system for taking turns picking genres? Today's the day we start deciding the genre after black metal.
