i was talking about a larger branch of folk. And isn't nu metal a subgenre of alternative metal?

The "groove" in groove metal is meant more as music that can make trashy fat dudes swathily dance.

Nu metal is Alternative Metal and ROCK DUN DUN DUN !!!!!!!!!!!

ya know Nu metal has been around since like 1988 I grew up with it but yet it so hard to pin point it down on what bands play it cus IMO there is no such thing has Nu metal its all Alt rock and metal and there is so much musical freedom
