I think Limp Bizkit did a world tour in a biodome and Polly Shore was their roadie.

Nah, you aren't the only one that knew about that connection. I did too as I was listening to copious amounts of Bizkit back in the day.

Edit: to add my list.

Not sure why Sevendust is listed as Nu Metal on wikipedia but I do like them. After looking over that wikipedia list. A large majority of those bands were played by me during the early 00s and I loved them.

Guano Apes
Linkin' Park
Papa Roach
Hollywood Undead

Yes, Fred also produced a couple of tracks for his short lived band The Weasels

Aspergers, dumbass.

If you can't spell aspergers correctly or read a post correctly due to utter laziness, you're probably in an avant-garde band.

If you have less than 2% of the FB likes of Chacarron Macarron, you're probably in an avant-garde band.

Papa Roach is one thing, but Hollywood Undead? Seriously?

Wikipedia said Chimaira was Nu Metal (early) and was a "notable" member of NWOAHM, in fact they coined the phrase. Discog has them as "groove metal/metalcore." I've seen them also described in metal-archives as "Modern Metal" as opposed to "Nu metal/ grove metal/ metalcore." The only nonmetal thing I noticed about them is that the keyboard player uses a Korg KP2 fx processor. Is the utilization of that device enough to warrant them as Nu metal? Is there enough association with Nu Metal to be considered part of the sub-genre? Or is Chimaira too controversial a pick for the the big four of Nu metal?
