Don't worry about that guy. Plus don't think the list, feel the list. Go by who you think best exemplifies the sound and the feel of Post Punk. There are so many good Post-Punk bands there are no right answer trying to narrow them down to just to four bands.

I was really stumped on the 3rd, kinda forgot about the Cure since I dug em before I got into the genre at all. is it too early to talk about what genre to do next?

No it is not too early. I was kind of thinking doom metal or something but suggestions are always welcome.

like industrial isn't a very popular genre though
I'll consider it and decide between those two and any others that come up.

We can go more vague than industrial, like electronic, or rock. jk kind of... I still think it could be elaborated on.
I have not listened to Dragnet but Hex Induction Hour is one of the best post punk albums I've heard and I love the Witch Trials one edit: whether or not first wave industrial is a legitimate term, that's what I mean. Cuz like there's post industrial, and death industrial (which would segue into all kinds of noise), and martial industrial, and flijfkftfstv |
