I guess what you meant by "Classical music in general " is "Art music." ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The Classical periods runs roughly from about 1750s to the 1830s, give or take a few years.

No by classical period I mean my favourite period of music (aka classic), which is the period in which I played music (2001-).
