I just love both his talent and style.

I guess I'll let Chula take it from here.

Okay, so when Skolnick wasn't in the picture, and Testament weren't in a slump, like with The Gathering, Testament or Exodus? Wait, were they otherwise ever not in a slump without him?

Save it for when Testament gets that fourth slot.

Wait, was that in response to the gif or the edit?

The gif.

Ja, I don't like Skolnickless Testament and would choose Exodus over that, but their high points reach higher than Exodus's imo.

I mean, nah, but I will give Eric Peterson credit for bringing some tasty riffs on his own. The Gathering was heavy as **** even if it didn't have the energy of Testament with Skolnick. But it's nice to know you acknowledge that Exodus is the better band in general.

And can we both agree that both bands are the only real contenders for slot four, including Anthrax? Oh yeah, Kreator. So three bands with a real shot.

How many people can say they're both jazz and metal guitarists?

Also, playing Pratice What You Preach now. I am immediately, almost completely impressed.

****loads of people. It's not uncommon at all for people to tire of strictly playing metal and turn to jazz.

Heathen?! I love Heathen, but they made two albums. They're a band I'd rep as a fav thrash band, but a Big Four contender? **** no. At the very least I think you should make it to three albums before you should be in the running, unless your one or two albums just turn your chosen genre on its head by the sheer force of your inventiveness. And no, I don't think their reunion album counts, since A) it was released when thrash was over, and B) it basically sounded like a retread of Victims of Deception.

Like Chris Poland for one. And as far as drummers, Gar Samuelson, so math states that Megadeth is better than Testament. For two albums at least.
