Yeah, thrash. The top 3 are probably obvious, but I'm curious who will take Anthrax's spot. Please don't let it be Testament.

Please let it be Testament.
Or Exodus, to a lesser extent.

Actually, Testament's going in my Big 4. Sorry Bat, but I'm with Frown on this. The New Order was awesome. I haven't heard The Legacy yet, but I'm sure I'll love it.

Definitely Exodus. Testament are okay to awesome for the most part, but their sound is too derivative to be truly exciting. Whereas Exodus have better songs and are one of the few bands that can be said to have created thrash metal. Exodus' modern albums also **** on Testament's new albums.

I would agree with that if I didn't like The Formation of Damnation so much.
Have you heard Practice What You Preach? That and New Order are my two favourites.

I've only heard new order so far. But Testament's still going in my Big 4 because I'm very fond of their style and I think New Order is an amazing album. I can't say that about most of the thrash I've heard. I'll get to Practice What You Preach in a few minutes. Listening to Ocean Rain right now.

The Preacher and Trial By Fire say that you're wrong. Exodus can't beat that guitar work.

**** yes they can. Unless you're going to go into a Chula rant about Alex Skolnick then Gary Holt and Rick Hunolt are second only to Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman as gods of thrash guitar duos. Almost no bands could compete with them for sheer intensity.
