That's exactly why they are allowed. I didn't like the idea of a criteria because then the discussion goes into "genre defining" which is extremrly subjective. The votes would go nowhere.[

Clash aren't art punk? What's witn the artsy take on reggae and new wave influence throughout London Calling, then?

When did Reggae-influenced Punk get define as Art Punk? Is that something you read or something you made up? Ob-la-di ob-la-da is an artsy take on Ska and Calypso does that make The Bealtes an Art Punk band? When does the madness stop? You take "extremely subjective" to a whole new level.

Then the Specials are art punk? What about all the other Two-Tone bands? Oh yeah, and I thought everybody ELSE already agreed that art punk is a stupid, fake genre.

Is anyone else up for thrash next? Or would you like something else? I know thrash already has an official one, but a previous idea that was brought up was to see if this website agrees with the official big 4: Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer.

Either you were beaten up too much in high school or you weren't beaten up enough.

Please stop saying "a criteria".

Black Francis 07-12-2016 12:51 AM

Instead say "a cafeteria" cause that's what I hear anyway.
