Jewel and other Adult Contemporary artists, yea or nay?

Anyone remember that time in the late 90s when artists like Jewel were overtaking the music scene? My music director wants me to play Jewel. I balked at the idea. He says I would connect with other 90's kids that way.

So,what does everyone think of Jewel, Paula Cole, Chantal Kreviazuk, and Sarah McLachlan because those are the main AC artists that were huge in the late 90's.

As a 90's kid...

no. I could give a **** less about this types of artists and basically everyone I know is the same way

He's lying he's a huge Jewel fan.

Bro, nobody's gonna give a **** if you play Jewel. The people who listened to Jewel are too busy raising three kids to give a **** about the radio, and no kids are going to give a **** either. You might as well play Kenny G.

TBH your station sounds like it sucks.

I dated a girl who was into this kind of music, and it was the worst two months of my life. The girl was great but the music was sooo boring. It was endless and pointless. I just wanted to shoot myself when I had to listen to it. Bleh.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 06-12-2016 08:44 PM

So, did you kill her then?

Blank. 06-12-2016 08:46 PM

Yes! With the power of metal!

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 06-12-2016 08:47 PM

As long as it wasn't power metal, cool.
