Jewel used to be Carmates with J.K Rowling.
She also used to give handies for 5 dollars but johns used to complain her hands were too small for the job. Paula cole was cool, i liked that song with the cowboys and whatnot.

Jewel, Paula Cole, Sarah Mclachlan, and all of their adult-contemporary ilk are the Michael Boltons, Kenny Gs, John Teshs, and Celine Dions of their generation - dull, middle-of-the-road, safe, bland garbage which ends up in heavy rotation on work-day radio and shopping center MUZAK stations everywhere. It's music for people who don't care about music. Suburbanite 30-something pop.
The bane of my existence.

Interesting fact about Jewel. Her family, the Kilcher's, are the stars of "Alaska: The Last Frontier", the reality show about homesteading in Alaska on the Discovery channel. In fact, she sings the theme song with her father, Otto.
