Now, I like fusion. But I don't consider it an important component in the evolution of music and that's the criteria I'm working with. Popularity is irrelevant because I'm talking about artistic significance.

Yes but I'm not allowing those many and unfortunate examples into the construct of this personal paradigm of mine.

**** bad music, in other words. I have my hands full trying to understand the development of good music.
