I kind of forgot about that Nick Cave album. Loved it for the first week or so.

I was really disappointed by Skeleton Tree.
Nothing was awesome, some songs were kinda cool, the rest ranged from meh to awful.

The track where the female vocalist is featured heavily. She sounded just terrible and out of place to me. I still feel the cringe.
There were one or two others, but I don't remember which ones.

Distant Sky. The title is cringey, too.

Hard to narrow it down but I'll do my best...

01 Brian Eno - The Ship
02 Underworld - Barbara, Barbara We Face a Shining Future
03 Space - This Is Not What Space Is About (Limited 2CD Expanded Edition)
04 The KLF - Live From the Lost Continent 2012 (2016 Special Edition)
05 Michael Formanek - Ensemble Kolossus - The Distance
06 Klaus Schulze and Pete Namlook - The Dark Side Of The Moog Vol. 1-4 Box Set
07 Jean Scwarz - Erda, Suite N [REGRM 016LP]
08 The Future Sound of London - Environments Six and 6.5
09 The Avalanches - Wildflower
10 The Orb - 4Orbidden Mission (10th Anniversary 2CD promo)
11 Qluster - Echtzeit
12 John Carpenter - Lost Themes II

Honorable Mention: The Avalanches - Since I Left You (2016 First-Ever Vinyl Reissue)

and there are two critically important pending releases in the post or soon to be mailed this year -

- and the monumental 40th Anniversary Voyager Golden Record Box Set.

2016 has been an incredible year for music!

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Officially adding Danny Brown's new record to my list. Easily THE hip-hop record thus far. Yes, better than the new TCQ record.
