What?!? I can't believe there are people out there that don't like girl singers in bands. That's terrible! And why has no one mentioned Stevie Nicks? I am practically in love with her! Ugh don't even try to say girl singers suck...it makes me sad : (

Obviously men and woman sound different when they sing.
There are female singers who make the music that much better, but then there are some that make it that much worse, visa versa for men. With all the difference's in how people sing, style is a big factor. Woman are usually assosiated with softer, more melo music, but men are also capable of softer tones. In retrospect, woman vocalists in rock bands = A-okay.

Yeah, fair enough. I'm not a fan of any of the bands you listed, but that's just my opinion
I really want to play guitar in a metal band but most people seem to think that girls don't have the right image for metal. I don't agree with that, I just think they are not good singers for the type of music. |
