I know she's 'poppy' but Melissa Etheridge has a fabulous voice. Some of her songs are rather rock orientated so thats why I let her slip under the radar and gave her a mention in this thread.

and their is ALOT of crust bands (nausea,contravene,witch hunt) that have female singers and (not to be sexist) i prefer them over most male crust singers.
