(I was listening to music and playing with the mouse and just my luck this was posted before I finished the introduction, - mods maybe save it the way it is for an album index of 2000s releases.)

I notice there are threads of about 80s guilty pleasures, but no recent thread on the 00s. I thought I make one about the 00s but not a youtubish one. OK I usually when I listen to music go through phases, it's with bands, genres or decades. So lately I notice I was in an 00s phase. Some of my favorite albums from the decade is Tender Buttons by Broadcast, and Moenie And Kitchi by Gregory and the Hawk (Meredith Godreau). And the last album I played was Crystal Castles.

I'd really like to know the obsession of trying to figure out if music in the 2000s is worth listening to. Of course it's worth listening to, it's music for ****s sake. People spend more time trying to shout their opinion about 2000 era music being apparently bad instead of just listening to the music and enjoying it. Get over it.

Also, The Strokes album is titled "Is This It" not "This Is It".

Funny, when I'm trying to decide whether or not I like a piece of music, that number denoting the release date plays little or no part in forming my opinion.

OK well nothing in my life goes as plan, and it posted by accident before the I finished the opening thread. It was to be about what people think of the music from the 2000s now. I messed up writing it up, you have mod power. Just delete the thread please.
