Default Practically Everything On Bandcamp Is Not What it Claims to Be

I'm going through the music identified as 'experimental folk' and 90% of it is neither. They need an improved vetting process if they want people to go there to discover new music.

I'd hate to see what a band had to go through to be able to call themselves "black metal".

I don't want them to have to burn a church down but if they sound like Motley Crüe then I don't want to have to shift through it. Not that there's anything wrong with sounding like Motley Crüe. I like Motley Crüe. If they had a Motley Crüe sound alike section and the bands really had that sound that would be cool as ****. Shout at the Devil!

My genre tags for this album are: experimental, hip hop, metal, punk, rap, ambient, avant-garde, country, harsh, improvisational, modern classical, musique concrete, pop, and psychedelic. It's maybe five of those things but it's also my best selling solo album, so it's a good technique to put your name out there.

Sorry that you have to sift through *******s like me.

So you've made a whole $5 on it?

From a quick skim it seems really ****ing good. $5 or $5,000,000; as a listener I don't give a ****.

Damn dude. I'm 70% through the entire album now. It's fantastic. Not just like wow for some guy on here that's pretty good. I mean it's good, even very good, by any standard. I'm staggered. I mean, you know, it's not often someone says hey this is me and doesn't totally suck, even online. It's not like polite, hey nice chops good. I'm astonished. I'm going from being an Internet peer to a fan.
