Does that apply to Etron Fou Leloublan?

Islaja is Norwegian, I believe.

I love EFL; but yeah, the singing does bother me a tiny bit.

"Find me the Tolstoy of the Zulus, or the Proust of the Papuans"

Yeah a lot of those RIO bands sang in their native tongues.

Islaja (in Finnish)
Indica (Finnish)
Stam1na (Finnish)
Dir En Grey (Japanese)
Sukekiyo (Japanese)
Arkona (Russian)
Olga Bell (first album: Russian)

I love how all those three languages sound in singing.
Got some other stuff too, not to mention all the bands I wish would sing in their native tongue.
I like zero bands who sing in Danish despite it being my own language.

Unlike the dude somewhere above, I like French when sung, but can't mention any French bands/artists I'm into off the top of my head, that consistently sing in French.
Probably someting I should rectify.

I listen to a lot of Bollywood and cant understand a word of it.

I also listen to a lot of Agnetha and Frida's (abba) solo albums, and much of that is in Swedish and sometimes German... cant understand a word and love it all anyway.

I certainly don't consciously avoid non-English language music, but I own very little, I suppose because I have not been exposed to much of it.

The exception is Portuguese; I have quite a few recordings from Brazil.
