Default Songs that drag on and on (and on)...

Or ‘Repeat to fade’...

Are there any songs which absolutely drive you up the wall with their repetitiveness?
Songs that spring to mind are Destiny’s Child’s “Single Ladies”, “So Lonely” from The Police and just about everything by Rihanna: “Ra ra ra ra”, anybody?...)

This is not some old school rant. I adore The Beatles but their classic “Hey Jude” certainly drags on twice as long as it really should. Similarly Lennon’s “Give Peace A Chance”, a placard-waving campfire chant of the highest order.

Any more out there?

Naaa naaa na nanananaa. Nanananaa Hey Jude.

They're still playing the original version.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I won't lie. I enjoy how this song drags on... Back in Cali, I'd be playing music and driving my husband and his video-gaming friends nuts. Finally he would say "one more song, then turn that **** off"... K babe, no prob

You think Hey Jude drags on too long but many of your own songs don't?

I don't see where I mentioned the second part. You need new glasses.

Sorry, I just assumed you thought your songs were of an appropriate length/repetitiveness

Stairway to Heaven. Doesn't warrant the length. Structurally uninteresting.
