I saw an Eagles documentary and while watching it I thought Glenn Frey came off as such a hardass. Maybe it was just usual band politics, but I really didn't care for him. Yeah he sang "Take It Easy," but can't say he did. I felt sorry for those who crossed his path like Bernie Leadon, Randy Meisner and Don Felder.
Anyways for all the fans, rest in peace Glenn Frey.

And your last sentence comes across as very insincere and disingenuous. You need to show some respect for the dead. Terrible thing to say.

Maybe he mellowed with age, and seen things differently, idk. Now whether or not Glenn Frey made kept in contact after they were no longer part of the band I don't know, to me that is more important than concert numbers, album sales or how much money is made. I do remember Paul saying in retrospect he would handle things differently with Pete Best. I'm guessing Glenn Frey had the same sentiments. No he didn't. He changed one word, on the basis of what someone else posted. That's not changing your mind.
