Do it asap, or it'll become the new "Office Space".

Is it one of those (awesome) things you won't check out on principle?

Trollheart 01-19-2016 08:26 AM

No. Like I told everyone before, there are movies stacked up on my SKY box to be seen, but I'm so busy I seldom get much time to watch TV, and even when I do, I also have seasons of series to watch. So watching a film I amn't waiting to see is just not on the cards at all. Far too much to watch that I actually want to see. That's how it's always been. If someone says "Oh you should see such a film", I'll probably make a note to check it out but the chances of me actually getting to watch it are quite low. I need to WANT to see something before I'll sit down and watch it.

I'm not a casual watcher and I'm not one who goes in for recommendations for movies. My other sister has told me of plenty of good movies she's watched. My response always is yeah but I don't really have time for movies. When you add up the time I write plus the time I use to look after my sis, throw in some meals and there's not too much spare time left really.

I guess the Office Space debate was before my time or I just missed it, so I wasn't aware of your reasoning. Seems legit. :thumb:

The Office Space thing was different. When I said no I won't be watching it, people, led by of course Frown and Batty, kept pressuring me. Why? Why won't you watch it? You should watch it? Give me one good reason. Why won't you understand that we know better than you what you would enjoy? Why do you refuse to bow to our wisdom? And so on.

Crap like that does just solidify my resolve not to watch it, giving them the finger and telling them that they had actually achieved the opposite of their intent, and ensured I never would watch it.

And thus, an (incorrect) legend was born.

I mean, if I was like that, I wouldn't have started "Love or Hate?" now, would I? But some people just like pushing my buttons. Then everyone else got involved, and so OfficeSpaceGate was born. Idiots.

I know that you're pretty open minded in a lot of ways. No debate here.
You know yourself that it probably stopped being about the actual movie pretty fast and became about getting a rise out of you.
But let's not indulge in this topic any further and let sleeping bats lie.
