Default Music Fanatics: How do you keep track of your current favorite 50+ artists?

I imagine this is problem for indie fans especially.

I like so much music that I can't keep track of my current favorite 25-50+ bands. Streaming services like Spotify, Slacker Radio and even Last.fm are great but past 50 or so artists they fall apart at organization.

Of course the problem is I don't just like these 50 bands but that there are 200 other bands I also love, just not as much in the moment. So really it's a probably of organizing hundreds of artists.

Am I the only one with this problem?

I embed microchips into their skulls and just look them up on the computer.

I don't have to keep track all the time. It's nice to rediscover something you love or to find out that an artist released an awesome new album while you didn't pay attention.

Why would it be more of a problem for indie fans?

Because the bands are really similar to each other. Music, band names, looks...

Plus they don't constantly hear about their favorite artists on the radio all the time, unlike those musique concrete enthusiasts.

I was thinking because indie fans tend to me more into music in general. Its more effort to get into that say Pop.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
